GetSorted™ is a product of BrightCasa LLC ("BrightCasa," "we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the GetSorted mobile application, related website pages, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

GetSorted is designed to help people organize spaces, containers, and belongings, find items more easily, prepare for moves, document possessions for insurance, and support future household and estate-planning organization features.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly through GetSorted, including:

• Name and email address used to create or access an account
• Account login information
• Spaces, containers, items, labels, notes, categories, and other organization details you enter
• Photos you choose to upload or capture through the app
• Estimated item values or insurance-related details you choose to enter
• Smart Label IDs, QR-code information, or label-related details associated with your spaces, containers, or items
• Moving-related details you choose to add, such as destinations, packing status, or item locations
• Messages, questions, support requests, or feedback you send to us

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use GetSorted, we or our service providers may collect limited technical information, such as:

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Browser type, if you access related web pages
• IP address
• Crash reports
• Diagnostic information
• General usage information, such as which app screens or features are used

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Service.

C. Photos and AI-Assisted Organization

GetSorted may allow you to take or upload photos of belongings, spaces, containers, labels, or other household items.

If you choose to use an AI-assisted feature, such as Organize From Photo, your image and related request may be processed by a third-party AI or cloud service provider acting on our behalf.

We may use the image only as needed to provide the requested feature, such as identifying possible items, suggesting labels, or helping create an organized inventory record.

Do not upload photos containing highly sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to provide the requested feature.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your GetSorted account
• Store and display your spaces, containers, items, notes, labels, photos, and related organization records
• Provide search, sorting, moving, inventory, insurance, and label-related features
• Process AI-assisted photo-organization requests when you choose to use them
• Improve app performance, reliability, design, and features
• Respond to support requests, feedback, or questions
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical problems
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with trusted service providers that help us operate GetSorted, such as:

• Cloud hosting and database providers
• Authentication and account-management providers
• Image storage providers
• AI-processing providers, when you use an AI-assisted feature

You may be able to edit, update, move, or delete spaces, containers, items, photos, notes, labels, and other content through the app.

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or enforcement of our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect the Service, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in secure backups for a limited period before being deleted or anonymized.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.

However, no method of internet transmission, cloud storage, or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for using a secure password.

7. Children's Privacy

GetSorted is not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

BrightCasa does not sell your personal information.

We do not use GetSorted inventory records, photos, or item details to sell personalized advertising based on your household belongings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the app, by email, or through another reasonable method.

Your continued use of GetSorted after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
