Create a box and add what’s going into it. You can photograph several items before packing, and GetSorted Moving is being designed to help identify and record what’s in the box.
Drop-off Room
Choose the room where the box should be placed at your new home, so unpacking has a clear plan.
A marker is enough.
No printed labels, no QR codes, no special equipment. GetSorted Moving is being designed to give each finished box a short code you can write directly on the outside with a marker.

Instead of opening box after box looking for one thing, GetSorted Moving is being designed to let you search what you packed and see which box it’s in.
Document the box in seconds — keep packing.
The photo step is being designed to stay out of your way. Photograph several items before they go into the box. The app is designed to suggest the separate items it can identify. You review and correct those suggestions while packing, and repeat with the next group of items as needed.
If you like, keep an optional final photo of the packed box as a reference.

GetSorted Moving is being designed to create a simple placement guide organized by Drop-off Room, so movers can see where finished boxes and larger non-boxed items belong — without seeing the private details of what’s inside.
Furniture and larger items, too.
GetSorted Moving is also being designed for things that don’t go into boxes — such as furniture and other large items — so their Packing Room and Drop-off Room can be recorded alongside everything else.
Already use GetSorted™?
GetSorted Moving™ is being designed as a separate companion app for the moving process. It can work with your existing GetSorted™ home inventory, so items you’ve already added can be included in your move without entering them again.
